To assist hospitals in obtaining complete and accurate clinical documentation, 3M Health Information Systems is introducing the new 3M DRG Assurance Program, now enhanced to include a leave-behind software tool, the 3M Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) System, to help hospitals achieve and sustain documentation improvement results over time. More than 750 hospitals have relied on the 3M DRG Assurance Program to improve inpatient clinical documentation, with clients averaging a 2-4% increase in case mix, resulting in a 4:1 financial return (PRWeb Jun 15, 2009)
