Jennifer Hudson was picked to play Aretha Franklin in the new movie Aretha. Franklin picked Hudson herself after auditions where over. This may turn out to be another great opportunity for Hudson to maintain her career as an actress and singer in the entertainment industry. Although most of the roles she has played have been singers, Hudson fans know this will not type cast her.
