To those of you that don't known what the metaphor of "Mandingo Tool" may mean in relationship to Real World DC and the first show, you may need to go read more history about slavery, stereotypes and American culture. To educate yourself is not my job, it is yours. Lets continue, The term Tool and the meaning come from pop culture in relationship to MTV. A Tool is a male that chases women and only looks out for himself and his next conquest. Ty Ruff may come off as a Tool but his allegedly background and what he has done today can help other young black males.

If Ty was an urban city youth at one point in his life that may ha d a trouble past, he can be used to influence others just like the individuals that live in those areas today. If we look at TY Ruff, it appears he has taken advantage of the opportunities that were presented to him. Unlike many, he had the chance to get a firm education and , he has graduated from college and worked his way around problems that he has faced in the past.

If those that are looking for community spokes person from time to time with pop culture name and branding, Ruff could be the man for this job. Although Ruff plays them holes like a Tiger Woods golf pro, Ruffs demographics and resume from really life experience can help further keep hope in the minds of young black males that everyday have walked the same path as TY Ruff or , the young black males that are thinking about changing their ways.

Although same may not agree with allowing Ruff to speak to youths, you cannot find a better person with free press right now.
