Bob Johnson calls a few black journalist sellouts

Robert Johnson is the one of the founders of BET. In a recent interview in the Washington Post, Johnson expressed his thoughts on himself and BET. He admits that he has come under criticism for various formats but , to sum up his response, he felt that he did what was best for his shareholders. Although Johnson has been criticized for his pay scale, he has made many millionaires out of minorities and provided opportunities for various minorities.
Johnson fells most of his critics are black and white journalist. The white journalist feels he should give his money away and as much as possible to the African American community. Johnson was every upset with the black journalist because most of them work for white papers and attack him the hardest. If you read the following quote, you may gain some understanding. It'll read like that because BET was the only one of its kind; it was a company that created a lot of expectations, and it's a company that's critiqued by two [types of] people, mainly: black journalists who worked for white newspapers and white journalists who believed that a business that was created to make money by a black person is not what black people should do.
