Is a Project Runway star broke?

In these trying times with some many obstacles and mountains to move, people sometimes fall by the side and get looked over. If we look at a once Project Runway star,Korto Momolu (Cut toe Mo Mo Lu), one has to ask themselves one question. Why Momolu dose not have enough sponors? Momolu is planning her return to New York fashion week and , she is asking for you support although she is still gaining some success in the fashion industry. For example, Momolu has been picked up by Dillard's to Design a Line of signature handbags and jewelry scheduled to Launch February 2010.

"We are very excited to bring Korto Momolu's collection of jewelry and handbags to Dillard's", said Bill Dillard III. "It is thrilling to watch a new designer begin her career in such an exciting fashion. Dillard's is committed to innovative design and bringing our customers new and exciting labels."

To further strengthen this partnership, Ms. Momolu will embark on a nationwide tour from February to March 2010. The tour will kick-off in Ms. Momolu's home state of Little Rock, Arkansas, and will include the major cities of Dallas, Houston, Memphis, Atlanta, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, New Orleans, Charlotte, Las Vegas and Phoenix.

"This partnership with a worldwide brand like Dillard's is thrilling for me, because it will enable me to expose even more people to my aesthetic and continue to make my brand a household name" said Korto Momolu. Dubbed as 'the one to watch' during her appearances on Project Runway Season 5, she is living proof that if you follow your dreams and be true to your craft good things will always happen.

Before the tour, Momolu plans to return to New York's Fashion week. This event will help Momolu futher brand herself.

"This is my return to fashion week after Project Runway, so it's important for me to establish my voice," said Momolu. Known for her intrinsic creations, Momolu opted for a collection of serene designs that reflect her lifestyle, cultural and design background. "The fall 2010 collection is an eclectic blend of rich fabrics, detailed beading and infusion of northern African influences. It holds true to everything I am as a designer, focusing on fit, structure and detail."
