She is pregnant by Joel Madden. Although the two are in a relationship, it appears marriage my be in the works. If Ritchie jumps the broom doing or after her pregnancy, it will allow a new image to be born. Ritchie may appear as an bad girl gone good along as she dose not make the Brittany Spears mistakes. Joe Madden a La Plata, Maryland native may want to marry because his father walked out on him while he was a young. Ritchie may want to marry because she was adopted and may need the family structure to stay strong. Madden ,who at one point in his life owned a clothing line and is apart of Good Charlotte band, should have enough cash to take care of the family. If he does not, he can work odd jobs like he did when he was young to help in the family house hold.
