Who shook the old woman down in the Kitty Kelly book about Oprah Winfrey? The way Kelly describes Winfrey's best girl friend Gail makes people think Gail is the enforcer in the Winfrey media power family.
Recent, news reports state that Katherine Carr Esters took here statements back about the father drama in the book. The quote that Ester gave to the media world was as follows.
"I'm sorry this book portraying her falsely was ever written and that I participated by answering questions," said Esters
Esters, 82, says she didn't spill and that Kelley is lying.
Esters said she would be trying to get in touch with Oprah Winfrey to explain what happened with the Kelley interview. What she wants to say: "'Kitty Kelley misquoted me when she said I told her who your father was. How could I know?' That's all I'd want to tell her."
