Westwood announced today that it will conduct a teleconference call to discuss the proposed merger of a subsidiary of Westwood One, Inc., with Verge Media Companies, Inc. The call will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. ET, and is open to the general public. A preliminary Information Statement regarding the transaction was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on September 6, 2011.
