Bobby Brown, the self-proclaimed "King of R & B", is about to blow the lid off of the entertainment industry with his book, entitled "Being Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But...".

In recent news releases, Brown made statements claiming that his former wife, Whitney Houston, was the cause of his drug problems. "I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney. Before then, I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice...At one point in my life, I used drugs uncontrollably. I was using everything I could get my hands on, from cocaine to heroin, weed and cooked cocaine."

Brown also claims that marriage boosted Houston's music career in various ways. By marrying Brown, Houston was able to dispel the rumors circulating about her bisexual relationship with her assistant Robin Crawford. He writes, "I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married . . . I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children.".

Although Brown was married to Houston for 15 years, he admits that he was no angel in their relationship either. "I am guilty of sleeping with other women . . . Women are always throwing themselves at you. I'm only human, so I would make the mistake and bite the hook sometimes . . . I let the testosterone take over.". He mentions his trysts with Madonna, Holly Robinson Peete, Karrine Steffans and others.

He also mentions his pre-Whitney relationship with Janet Jackson. Although it was not confirmed how long the relationship lasted or what caused it to end, the break-up started a dangerous habit in Bobby Brown. "I can recall that I started drinking heavily when Janet Jackson and I broke up," he writes. "Before I met Janet I would never drink hard liquor, I only drank beer. But after our break up, I started drinking hard liquor abundantly. I took the way our relationship ended very hard. Not to say we were head over heels in love, but she was someone I had a lot of feelings for. Besides, we were young and naive. I was only about 19 or 20 years old. Young love is no joke!" .

Some would say that Brown lead a glamorous lifestyle with all the women, cash, cars, and clothes, it almost came to an end when he overdosed on heroin in his late 30's. Although the media reported Brown suffered from a heart attack, he actually suffered from a mild stroke causing muscle damage in Brown's face. He also states that his heart stopped three times and they had to use the paddles to revive him. Brown keeps teasing the media with tidbits from his book in hopes for major sales on its release date. We'll see on May 13.
