Although the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation conference is able to draw power brokers and network seekers, the event is more then just party. The purpose of the event is to allow members of the CBC and others in the world community to come together to discuss current and future concerns that face the black community, people of the world and the United States. During the annual Prayer Breakfast, the foundation was able to pack the room and allow its' supporters to hear a few speeches before the closing of the conference. After the annual Prayer Breakfast, the conference participants went to the various discussion panels of interest.
