After the recent alleged assassination attempt on Barack Obama, Washington insiders my label the Skinheads a new terrorist group. The Skinheads have moved from a sub culture that started out in England to front page poster terror squads in the United States.
The history of the Skinheads goes back to England. This culture called Skinheads has roots that started in the Jamaican Rude Boy Culture in 1965. This culture spread and still had some of his foundation base around music. The Skinheads' culture spread to places like Australia. In Australia,Skinheads had they own style. The Skinheads' culture faded for awhile but music brought it back again in 1979 and, this time it was punk music instead of early reggae, ska, soul, and rock steady before the tempo was slowed down and had black nationalism and Rastafari movement in it.
Skinheads association with violence started in England when Pakistanis and Asian immigrants were attack by black and white Skinheads. Although this group attacked the immigrants, they were not organized racist groups at that time. Groups began to associated with racial groups in the 1970's.
Many Skinheads are mad at the media for promoting them as groups promoting white power. Todate two Skinheads groups associate themselves with white power “Hammerskins” and “Blood and Honour”. Other Skinheads groups present themselves as neither right or left and have spoken out against the neo-nazi Skinheads.
Although the Skinheads have a diverse history, the actions of other Skinheads will have the entire entity labeled a terrorist group.
