AJ had to step to BET like a Man

AJ , who was the host of 106 & park, has changed his look by cutting of f his dreads or locks. In the last 2 years at BET 106 and park, AJ had no annual contract according to Vibe. AJ felt he was becoming the face of the show along with Free. AJ a Howard University grad and once club promoter at Howard has moved on in his career but for awhile had problems watching 106 & park. The rating of 106 and park were higher then TRL and everyone who wanted to be exposed to the Hip Hop or African American community would come on 106 & park. AJ claims he is not bitter with BET and was happy to be on the show being that it provided a positive black male image for the kids. AJ said he would have left 106 and park sooner but he hang in there for the kid viewers. Before being dismissed from BET 106 and park, AJ had tried to put presser on management of BET to at least get an annual contract and more money.
