I am sure by now many people have formed an opinion on Carmen Bryan book about her relation with Nas and other high profile folk. The relationships in the book are not all about sex but show a small light on how a new artist lives and survives in the entertainment industry. Carmen points out how she had to work although Nas had some brief success when he first came on the seen in Hip Hop. Carmen talks about how clean cut Def Jam got shot up along with her friendly relationship with Redman and her affairs with rappers and NBA ball players. The sex scenes over shadow a deep rooted problem with people who receive fame and fortune fast. There is mis management of money , greed and not a understanding of how the money can help them and others. The book in a hidden view points out the games the black rich elite play with women for points and bragging rights. I would recommend you read the book and look at how Nas at times was broke although he received checks and had the world at his feet.
