Essence Music Festival 2011 may not happen in New Orleans

If you are fan an of Essence Magazine, you have enjoyed a magazine with a rich history. It is amazing that a magazine has blossom into a entity with resources to put on an affordable music festival for it's fan base to enjoy. For more then 10 years, Essence Communications has held the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. One would think this event would never end.
Well, Various information is coming to light about next years music festival. While in New Orleans, the locals were whispering that the Essence Music Festival may not happen in New Orleans next year. The reason for this statement is the Super Dome is under going renovations and a new sports complex being built. If you have been in New Orleans recently, you would have noticed the construction around the Dome and the sports complex.
A call was made to Essence Communication and, this unnamed source of information stated that the festival location for 2011 has not been determine and that refused to answer any more question.
A call was made to Houston, TX and Atlanta, GA government offices and both locations knew nothing. The reason the call was made to the two locations was to due the locals in New Orleans stating that the two cities were in negotiations about hosting the festival.
The last call was made to New Orleans,LA and, a Dancia stated that the Festival would be hosted in the N.O. although this individual did to transfer me to a creditable source.
The only questions that remains is the location of the festival.
